LEST WE FORGET

In Room 3 we have started the term off doing some learning about the Anzac's and why we need to remember the heroic achievements of our servicemen and women.  Their efforts provided us with the opportunity to be able to choose our own destiny as a nation and as people. 

We attended a memorial service at school, read about what an Anzac parade involves and looked at what life was like for the Anzac soldiers.
We were amazed at the size of the WW1 cemeteries and discovered the memorials that our school has to these people honouring those from our community.
